Fabric Care
Wool – Wash your wool fabric with soft cycle setting, both cool and warm water can be used. Best to dry flat in shade.
Cotton – Wash with cool water for darker coloured cotton material, use warm water for lighter colour cotton. Both gentle and normal cycle setting is applicable. You may tumble dry it.
Denim – Cool water for dark colour denim, warm for white denim, tumble dry.
Nylon – Cool water and gentle setting, drip dry. Please separate nylon from other items while washing.
Microfiber – Cool water and gentle setting. Do not twist the material.
Silk – Cool water and gentle setting. Drip dry. Do not twist the material.

Stain Removal Tips
Chocolate – Rinse the back of the stained area with cold water. Using liquid detergent, rub into the stain, allow it to sit for 5 minutes then soak with cold water for 10 minutes. Repeat the process until no more stain can be seen.
Coffee/Tea/Beer/ Red Wine -Soak the cloth in water after you’ve rubbed the liquid detergent in. Every 5 minutes, gently rub the stained fabric with your thumb and fingers to loosen the stain. After 30 minutes of soaking in cold water, check the stained area. If the stain remains, try soaking for 5-15 minutes in warm water before rinsing thoroughly.
Blood – Soak it in a solution of 1-quart warm water, 1/2 teaspoon dishwashing or liquid laundry detergent, and 1 tablespoon ammonia for 15 minutes.
Oil- Lay the item flat between two paper towels with the stain down, and then move a warm iron over it. Replace the towels often until no more stain comes out, and then sponge it with prewash enzyme stain remover before laundering. You can also try rubbing the spot with non-gel toothpaste.
Curry – Rub glycerine into the stain with your fingertips and let it sit for a few minutes, rinse with cool water, soak in detergent, wash as normal and hang out dry.
Fruit Juice- Blot with lemon juice or vinegar.
Ink – Spray vodka on the stain, let it sit 10 minutes, and then wash. You can also soak it in lemon juice, milk, rubbing alcohol or vinegar.
Mud – Dry up the mud, scrape off the dried mud, and apply liquid detergent into the affected area and soak for 15minutes. Lightly rub the area every 3 minutes until the stain is cleared.
Paint – Rinse a water-based paint stain in warm water before it dries. For oil-based paint, rub it with the paint thinner. Pre-treat it with warm water and laundry detergent paste before laundering.
Tomato Ketchup – Run cold water through the back of the stain. Apply in a circular motion, the liquid detergent into the affected area, followed by a mild bleaching agent. If stain remains, soak in warm water for 30 minutes, rinse well.
Yellow Stain After Storage – Enzyme left on clothes is still active after domestic cleaning. After contact with air over a long period, your clothes develop yellow stains that are very difficult to remove. Best to have your clothes cleaned by professional and store in a vacuum bag.

Many customers are curious about what dry cleaning is, in fact, dry cleaning is any cleaning process for clothing and textiles using a chemical solvent other than water. It is often used instead of handwashing delicate fabrics, which can be laborious. A dry-cleaning machine is similar to a combination of a domestic washing machine, and clothes dryer. During the wash cycle, the chamber is filled approximately one-third full of solvent and begins to rotate, agitating the clothing. The solvent temperature is maintained at 30 degrees Celsius (86 degrees Fahrenheit), as a higher temperature may damage it.
At Reward Laundry, garments are also checked for foreign objects. Items such as plastic pens will dissolve in the solvent bath and may damage textiles beyond recovery. Many people believe that marks or stains can be removed by dry cleaning. Not every stain can be cleaned just by dry cleaning. Some need to be treated with spotting solvents—sometimes by a steam jet or by soaking in special stain-remover liquids—before garments are washed or dry cleaned.
